Protean Mode, Protean Mode II and Protean Mode III
Some Soul Breaks grant your heroes Protean Mode, Protean Mode II, or Protean Mode III.
-Using certain abilities as the next action after gaining Protean Mode, Protean Mode II, or Protean Mode III temporarily grants the user an elemental infusion, Empowered Infusion, or moderate Empowered Infusion.
-The element of the infusion granted by Protean Mode, Protean Mode II, or Protean Mode III depends on the Soul Break that triggered it.
-If you use an ability that deals damage of two or more of the triggering elements for Protean Mode, Protean Mode II, or Protean Mode III, only one element will be chosen for the elemental infusion, Empowered Infusion, or moderate Empowered Infusion.
-When an element is chosen, priority is given to the element that was used when damage was determined for the triggering ability.
-If it is still not clear which element should be assigned, the order of priority will be determined depending on the order in which elements are listed in the description for the triggering Soul Break.
-If you use an ability that doesn't deal damage of any of the triggering elements for Protean Mode, Protean Mode II, or Protean Mode III, then no elemental infusion, Empowered Infusion, or moderate Empowered Infusion is granted.
