Dr. Mog's Advice

–Key Strategy–
Manipulating Acquire Target is the key to defeating the Guardian!

The Guardian always counters black magic attacks, ninjutsu attacks, and physical attacks with Atomic Rays, so make sure to bring a party that is skilled in white magic!

◆First Phase
The Wave Cannon starts by using Acquire Target, then uses Particle Beam on that target a few turns later! If the targeted hero attacks, heals, or otherwise affects another character on the battlefield, the Acquire Target reticule will move to that character! If you transfer the reticule to the boss, and the boss attacks one of your party members, the reticule will be transferred back to that party member! Once you defeat the two Launchers, you can attack Guardian directly!

◆Middle/Final Phase
Acquire Target uses up to three reticules! Once multiple reticules are in play, try focusing them on a single party member before transferring them to the boss!

–Attack Patterns–
・You have to fight the Guardian, two Launchers, and the Wave Cannon at the same time.
・After the two Launchers are defeated, they revive once the Guardian's HP falls, or after several turns pass.
・Once the Guardian's HP falls, it revives the Wave Cannon.
・The Guardian only uses magic attacks, and the Launchers use physical and magic attacks.
・The Guardian's fire and lightning attacks are very powerful.
・The Launchers use attacks that inflict Confuse, Blind, and Sap, and attacks that deal damage based on HP.・The Guardian also uses attacks that deal damage based on HP.・Particle Beam deals fixed damage based on the Wave Cannon's current HP.・The Wave Cannon and the Launchers both begin the battle with Regen and revive with Regen.
・The Guardian always counters black magic attacks, ninjutsu attacks, and physical attacks with Atomic Rays.
・The Launchers always counter black magic attacks, ninjutsu attacks, and physical attacks with Mustard Bomb.
・Defeat the Guardian to win the battle.
