Dr. Mog's Advice

Hydro uses the group magic dark attack Darkra, as well as the single-target magic poison attack Bio, so lower his Magic using Magic Break, and use abilities like Shell to lower the damage coming in, kupo! He peppers you with physical attacks, so Protect and Power Break are also worth using! Along with the single-target physical attacks Sonic Fangs and Crushing Fangs that can Instantly KO heroes, he also uses Countdown to Doom one of your characters! What's more, his Fearga will reduce the ability uses of one target, so hone your abilities before the battle! Hydro is known to Sap your party members with Bile, a group physical attack, and he also has a single-target physical attack that can Poison, so take care of these with Regen or Esuna, kupo! Be warned that his Attack is boosted once his HP gets low, and it'll climb even higher when his HP gets critically low! Because he's vulnerable to holy, attack with abilities like Banishing Strike and Dia to gain the upper hand! Keep in mind that Hydro absorbs dark and resists all other elements. He has no resistance to Slow, though, so that can really help, kupo!
