The General hits with two back-to-back physical attacks and uses the group magic poison ability Bio and the single-target magic dark ability Drain, so even though the effect is reduced, use Power Break and Magic Break, and also have Protect and Shell ready to keep that damage off, kupo! Here's a tip, though! He doesn't have resistance to Slow or Blind, so put those debuffs on him to get a leg up!
