Dr. Mog's Advice

Echidna is a formidable foe that can act twice each turn, kupo! It wields an array of magic attacks like the group magic earth attack Quake, so even though it resists break debuffs you should use Magic Breakdown and Shellga to keep the damage in check. It also unleashes the magic attack Tornado against one of your heroes, dealing damage based on their current HP, kupo! Echidna's basic physical attacks can inflict Silence, and it sometimes uses the black magic spell Death to Instantly KO a member of your party, so bring Esuna and Curaise along to the fight. When it gets low on HP, it blasts the whole party with the magic non-elemental attack Meteor, so stay on your toes, kupo! It has no resistance to Slow, which means abilities like Slowga will make the fight much more manageable. Just bear in mind that it resists earth, kupo!
