Genesis Avatar uses Shadow Flare, which deals magic non-elemental damage to three adjacent targets, Overdrive, which removes a portion of one ability's uses from one target and removes its buffs, Flare, which deals magic non-elemental damage to all targets, and Purgatorial Wave, which deals damage to all targets proportional to their current HP, ignoring resistances!
Genesis Avatar sometimes thrusts his Materia into the ground.
You can deal damage to the Materia while it is embedded there, kupo!
Genesis Avatar isn't Vulnerable to any element.
The enemy wields many magic attacks, so although it resists break debuffs, you should either use an ability like Heathen Frolic Sarabande, or shore up your defenses with Shellga.
Defeat Genesis Avatar or the Materia to win the battle, kupo!
